Why This Blog?

This is a new blog that I have started so that I can organize and share my thoughts on some of the books that I have been reading. My tastes are not very eclectic. I pretty much read non-fiction, drawing from the fields of theology/Biblical studies and history. The goal of this blog is not to be literary. Nothing written here will be mistaken for a publishable review. I simply want to have a place where I can put my thoughts and ideas on the things that I read. If someone occasionally peruses my reviews, great. If not, I won't be disappointed.
